Still the one.

Kay, people. This is a bit cheesy. So brace yourselves. Hahaha! Kidding.

I don’t know, but I’ve known him since 2nd year high school. Have been his friend. Had courted me. Friend again. Then classmates. And now that we’re in college, schoolmates.

Last year, he kind of courted me again. Not so official though. It didn’t work. And we decide that we were better off as friends. And friends, it worked.

Sorry, a lot of ‘friends’ word =))

So yeah, we have been through many happenings in our lives. I could consider him as my best friend.

Here’s the thing. Whenever I see him, butterflies flutter in my stomach and my heart does a double-flip. I know. Idioms. But the point is, he’s still the one.

And I hate it. Because he views me no more than a friend.

I hate it, because when we talked I asked him who, among his girls, was the closest to his ‘formula’. Meaning who had been the closest one to what he’s looking for in a girl.

Guess what he said?

“You.”

And boy did my cheeks burn. I hoped he hadn’t seen that. Flustered as I was, I tried to act as normal as I could. But I know, it was evident.

I just hate it.

But then, I had urged myself not to ask this one thing: “Then why did you let go?”

Because I know, deep in my heart, that his answer would break me.

And at that moment, I agreed with the quotation saying that “Sometimes, not knowing things is much easier.”

Thirteen Reasons Why

Have you heard of that book? The one written by Jay Asher. If you haven’t then you sure are missing something.

Let me start by saying that I was expecting a lot from it. Reviews on GoodReads are mostly positive, praising how the book is a masterpiece. And I say it is. I agree. And ‘til now, there is this great void in my heart. Left by the said book.

Throughout the read, you will experience a gut-wrenching pain and heartbreak. Lots of them. First because of Hannah’s situation and unfortunate death. And second because of Clay. Clay darling! My sweety. Actually he’s the reason why I had cried. Because he did cry too.

I will not go on far. I recommend you to read the book, if you’re a bookworm just like me. It’s a whole ride of realistic teenage life. One where you’ll get to know the harsh reality of life. That people around can easily play you in their hands.

Still, there were some parts where I laughed and smiled. You know that part when everything’s so sad and solemn and then someone would put up a random joke. Or even just saying a thing. That made me laugh. Especially Tony and Clay’s conversation in the car.

And there were endless moments where I just felt very very sad about Hannah’s suicide. Because I could feel Clay’s guilt and pain too as he listened to the tapes.

But Clay’s so cuuuuute! Particularly in the theater, when he was jealous of Bryce Walker. Sooo sooo cuuute. They could have been together. Hannah and him. Had she not given up so easily, they could have been.

And in that moment I swear, we were infinite.

Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair, comment?

To be honest people, my image of the perfect Finnick Odair was Garret Hedlund or Xavier Samuel. Any of those two. The descriptions in the book were so fitting that I could almost see Finnick alive in my head. Very clear and vivid.

Well I guess our own versions of him aren’t what the film producers see in their heads. I mean, look at Katniss and Peeta. I had expected Kaya Scodelario and Alex Pettyfer for the role. But neither were chosen.

For the two lead, I have come to love them. And now I think that they really are the perfect persons for the job. I couldn’t imagine any other actresses to play the role of the girl on fire. Jennifer is the best choice. And so is Josh for Peeta. In the end, I have developed an infatuation with him. Yay! Haha. In the books I was more of a Gale fan. But Josh was so good and charming and cute. That him being the boy with the bread was unquestionable.

But let’s get back to Sam Claflin, shall we?

So probably most people don’t know this guy. But if you ever watched Snow White and the Huntsman and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger’s Tide, you are most likely be familiar with him.

Fans say he is not enough for the role. That he doesn’t even exhibit the charm of District 4’s most desirable victor. I say we give him a chance. Because truth be told, I’ve had a crush on him the moment I saw him on Pirates of the Caribbean. And his acting, for me, is actually pretty good. Even in Snow White, he did an exceptional job.

So. Fans, tributes, anyone. Let us give him the chance to prove his worth. It’s better than Robert Pattinson I think. As I’ve read articles on the internet saying that he’s gonna to the part. Right? They might as well cast Justin Bieber as Annie Cresta.

Okay, don’t take it the wrong way. I’m not a hater. Just saying.

Uneventful.

Well, honestly I missed Tumblr. I haven’t post anything in a while and I feel bad about it. So now I’m posting something. The title pretty much says it all. Uneventful. School’s okay. Boring. Friends are a lot crazier than usual though. I’ve been meeting a lot of foreigner in the internet. It’s fun! And they’re cute. Just don’t get carried away because they will ask you to strip. Hahahaha. Yeah. Know chatroulette? Been there for like once or twice.

Anyway, I’m home alone now. Soundtrip. Haven’t been completely on my own here in our house for the past few weeks. So now I’m enjoying it. Soundtrip. And the speaker’s blasting very loud sounds. Haha! Turned the volume to maximum.

Guess that’s it. Gonna watch some movies, yah know. Or Game of Thrones. Bye bye Tumblr! I promise I’ll be more often here :x
